Once upon a time there were two sisters named Marcy & Carrie. Skip a few years and now there is McKay, Spencer, Carter, Leta (sorry if I spelled that wrong), Chase and Gabe.
It was great to be able to get together with Carrie and Marcy and their kids today. I met Carrie nine years ago in Lake Forest, CA. Then I moved away. When I moved again a year later I happened to move into the same area as Marcy. Then I moved - yet again - away from both sisters and all the way to Utah. In the past five years I haven't really talked to either sister but a few weeks ago I reconnected with Marcy and found out Carrie lives really near me now and that Marcy was coming to visit this week! So since I wanted some new kid photos for my portfolio we decided to get together for a photo shoot. It was so fun! I know I need to work on my kid photo skills but at least this gave me some more practice. And I do LOVE photographing children so I'll willingly take all the practice I can get.
Here is a sneak peek of their session. I am still working on the editing but I always like to pull a few before I get to work on the rest. I took individual photos of all the kids but here I only have Leta, McKay and Chase by themselves.
